Happy April! We have a few updates to share with everyone this month.
Let’s start off by wishing Shawna and Anushka a very happy birthday! They are both celebrating their birthdays this month, so make sure you get the chance to wish them a happy birthday when you come into the office.
If you didn’t already know, we are back as an In-Network Provider with Cigna Dental Insurance PPO plans. This is very exciting for us, and we are thrilled to welcome in new patients.

This month is also Oral Cancer Awareness Month. Oral Cancer is very serious and should not be overlooked. If you think you are suffering for oral cancer you need to make an appointment with your doctor immediately. Symptoms could include:
- A lip or mouth sore that doesn't heal
- A white or reddish patch on the inside of your mouth
- Loose teeth
- A growth or lump inside your mouth
- Mouth pain
- Ear pain
- Difficult or painful swallowing
Oral cancer most often occurs in people over the age of 40 and affects more than twice as many men as women. Most oral cancers are related to tobacco use, alcohol use (or both), or infection by the human papilloma virus (HPV).
